Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pung Rundgung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiazer Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rundgung's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bullsonparade. Soze has chosen Hot Dog Hot Dog Hot Diggety Dog as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze slips a jab and a cross from Rundgung.
Rundgung closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Rundgung moves into the clinch.
Soze tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rundgung looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rundgung gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Soze.
Rundgung can't break the clinch.
Soze tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rundgung just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pung Rundgung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kiazer Soze.
Soze is pressed up against the cage. Rundgung has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Soze down to the mat. Soze avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Soze postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Soze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rundgung swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice straight punches there by Rundgung. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rundgung.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Soze throws a body punch but Rundgung moves out of range.
Rundgung moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rundgung shoots for a double leg takedown but Soze sprawls well. He's pushed Rundgung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rundgung is looking to score with low kicks.
Nice takedown defense from Rundgung. No joy for Soze on that attempt.
Soze has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rundgung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Soze or perhaps it was just good defense by Rundgung which made him look bad.

Soze throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rundgung was covering up waiting for the punch and Soze finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Soze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Soze takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That was a close round but I would say that Pung Rundgung will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Soze has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rundgung can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pung Rundgung will probably get the nod.
