The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varnson wants to land a leg kick but Marie II is out of range.
Marie II uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Varnson.
Varnson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Eliza Marie II has been cut.
Marie II wants to clinch up but Varnson keeps it at a distance.
Varnson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Marie II walks into a stiff left hand from Varnson.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marie II bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Varnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A shot to the body from Marie II misses
and Varnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Varnson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Varnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A slapping leg kick lands for Varnson.
Marie II looks gassed!
Varnson scores with a punch to the head.
That has opened up Eliza Marie II's cut even more.
Varnson scoring well with a low kick there.
A punch lands to the side of Marie II 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Varnson lands with a hook. Marie II tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The cut above Eliza Marie II's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Varnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Varnson connects with a body shot.
Varnson throws a nice head kick!
Eliza Marie II's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marie II tries to move into range but Varnson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eliza Marie II's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kel Varnson!
