Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Krantz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. OTEP-Battle Ready kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mick Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krantz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Thompson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Krantz lands with a cross.
Krantz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Thompson with a hook.

It looks like Zachary Krantz has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson throws a head kick but Krantz moves out of range.
Krantz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thompson's waist but Thompson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krantz off to one side.
Thompson avoids the head kick by Krantz.

Krantz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Krantz passes Thompson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Krantz wants to take a breather but Thompson is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krantz trying to mount his opponent but Thompson defends it.
Thompson is looking for a sweep. Krantz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Krantz works his foot free and advances to mount.
Thompson looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Krantz working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Thompson is doing well to defend. Krantz seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Thompson is forced to tap and this one is over!
