Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Bandana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Kukushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandana comes to the cage accompanied by Los del Rio - La Macarena. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kukushkin's choice of entrance music: Kukushka. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukushkin lunges at Bandana with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bandana's hand.
It looks like Dirk Bandana has been cut.
Kukushkin misses with a hook. Bandana ducked under it nicely.
Kukushkin throws a nice looking combination but Bandana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kukushkin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bandana feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bandana is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kukushkin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bandana.

Bandana wants to work for an arm triangle but Kukushkin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bandana is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kukushkin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bandana uses his free foot to push down on Kukushkin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kukushkin.

Bandana looking for a guillotine from mount but Kukushkin is having none of it.
Bandana is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kukushkin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kukushkin!
Kukushkin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kukushkin is looking to work some ground and pound but Bandana has wrist control.

Bandana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kukushkin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kukushkin fails to land with a series of punches.
Kukushkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bandana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kukushkin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bandana is defended easily by Kukushkin.
Kukushkin misses with a hook. Bandana ducked under it nicely.
Kukushkin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bandana on the side of the head.
Bandana shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bandana showed some decent athleticism there.
Bandana is looking for a kimura but Kukushkin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bandana to get the leverage.
Bandana is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kukushkin is just riding it out for now. Bandana eventually gives up the hold.
Kukushkin tries to kick Bandana off but Bandana keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bandana is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bandana winds up and cracks Kukushkin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kukushkin wants to get back to his feet.
Kukushkin tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bandana manages to move to mount!

Bandana lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kukushkin wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Bandana is landing with some decent strikes but Kukushkin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bandana looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bandana wants to control the pace but Kukushkin is squirming around nicely.
Bandana throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kukushkin has his hands clasped together but Bandana breaks the hold and Kukushkin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bandana!
