The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Horton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barns tries to pull guard but Horton won't allow it.
Barns tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Horton just stands there and leans against the cage.
Horton makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Barns keeps control of Horton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Barns jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Horton walks away with a smile on his face. Barns gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Horton lands with a nice combination. Barns backs away looking to recover.

Barns throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Horton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barns sprawls well initially but Horton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Horton thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Barns to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
