Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Leonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slava Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedorov has chosen Helloween - Power as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Vadim Leonov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vadim Leonov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedorov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leonov, pushing him back against the cage.
Fedorov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fedorov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Leonov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Leonov lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Leonov wants to control but Fedorov is keeping him busy.

Leonov cracks Fedorov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fedorov is trying to get back to his feet but Leonov has full control of the position and if anything, Fedorov has just worked his way into a worse spot.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Leonov shoots in and bounces Fedorov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Leonov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leonov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Leonov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fedorov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fedorov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Fedorov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Leonov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fedorov.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leonov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fedorov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leonov tries to avoid it but Fedorov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leonov to the ground. Leonov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vadim Leonov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slava Fedorov.

Leonov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Leonov showed some decent athleticism there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leonov throws a push kick but Fedorov slaps the foot to one side.

Fedorov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leonov shoots in but Fedorov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Vadim Leonov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Leonov breaks from Fedorov's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Slava Fedorov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Slava Fedorov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
