Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Sirminov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Cleveland Rocks. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sirminov's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner closes the distance and clinches.
Sirminov is looking to break free of the clinch but Tanner has double underhooks.
Tanner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sirminov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Sirminov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tanner fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tanner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Sirminov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tanner circles away.

Tanner pushes Sirminov up against the cage in a clinch.
Sirminov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tanner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tanner pushes Sirminov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Tanner lands a hook that snaps the head of Sirminov backwards.

Tanner prevents the takedown attempt.
Tanner has Sirminov pressed against the cage.
Tanner breaks the clinch.
Tanner misses with a double jab.

Sirminov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanner's waist but Tanner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sirminov off to one side.
Tanner sizes up Sirminov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sirminov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tanner is fending him off so far but Sirminov persists. Nope, Tanner circles away and we're back to standing.
Tanner tries to close the distance and clinch but Sirminov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sirminov fails to land the takedown.
Sirminov shoots for a double leg takedown but Tanner sprawls well. He's pushed Sirminov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sirminov tries for a takedown but Tanner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tanner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sirminov throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tanner's head.
Tanner avoids the head kick by Sirminov.
Sirminov gets a takedown into half guard.
Sirminov passes the guard and advances to mount!
Tanner's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Tanner stops Sirminov from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sirminov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tanner has worked his arm free - good work by Tanner!
Tanner regains half guard.
Tanner is defending against the submission attempts here by Sirminov.
Sirminov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tanner tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sirminov!
