The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoyle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hoyle fails to land the takedown.

Quick has closed the distance and engaged Hoyle in a clinch.
Quick with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Quick comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hoyle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hoyle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Quick has him pressed against the cage.
Quick gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Hoyle takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hoyle takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hoyle wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Quick creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hoyle's defenses.
Quick blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Quick scores with a knee to the head.
Quick using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hoyle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Quick tries a knee to the head but Hoyle blocks it.
Hoyle tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hoyle takes an elbow to the temple.

Quick drops Hoyle with a big knee straight up the middle! Hoyle is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Quick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quick wants it to stay on the feet.
