Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hendo Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Han has chosen You Know My Name as his entrance music. Hendo Han has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Stone!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hendo Han!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
Hendo Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone slaps away a takedown attempt from Han, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Han swings away with a leg kick that misses.
No luck for Han with that takedown attempt.
Han misses with a low kick as Stone jumps back.
Han tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Han somewhat.
Sammy Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hendo Han.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Han throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Han is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stone throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Han on the side of the head.
Han doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Han scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Han wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working.
Han tries to move to full mount but Stone actually manages to regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Han is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Han seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Han content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Stone tries to kick Han off in order to stand up. Han Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Han advances nicely into full mount.
Stone is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Han misses with a head shot.
Han looking to control but Stone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Stone is trying to stand up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Han thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stone is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Han looking to secure an arm triangle but Stone defends it well.
Stone is trying to stand.
Han trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A slapping leg kick lands for Han.
Han shoots in for a double leg but Stone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Han wants to clinch.
Han shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sammy Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Stone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Han circles away quickly and effectively.

Han will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Han misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stone walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Han checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Han shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Stone is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Han tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Han tries to control but Stone wriggling away.
Han thowing shots but they're missing.
Han looking to control but Stone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Han might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Han thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Stone wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Han.
Stone wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Han tries to control but Stone wriggling away.
Poor strikes thrown by Han there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Stone wants to try and get back to his feet.

Stone wants to try and get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position.

Hendo Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Han changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stone is not content to let Han control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone is trying to buck Han off.
Han working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Stone bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Han fails with a takedown attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Han misses with a low kick.
Han lands with a shot to the body.
Han tries to clinch but Stone moves out of range.
Stone takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Han cracks the inside of Stone's front leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Han is defended easily by Stone.
Han turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Han throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Han throws a sloppy head kick

and Stone counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Stone looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone is looking to stand up but Han won't let him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Han manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.

Stone pushes Han off and scrambles back to his feet.
Han falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Han 's knee.
Stone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone misses with a low kick.
Han dives in and grabs Stone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes down on Han's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sammy Stone clearly takes that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Stone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Han misses with a body shot

and Stone counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Han down! Stone is looking to finish but Han is intelligently defending himself.
Han trying to keep a closed guard but Stone is proving a slippery customer.
Han looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Han has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stone doesn't defend quickly enough and Han has managed to lock this one up! Can Stone escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Han on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hendo Han!
