Lex fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lex tries to clinch but Riviere is having none of it.
Lex throws a series of punches but Riviere moves out of range.
Lex throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lex closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riviere to the mat! Riviere manages to get full guard.
Riviere utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riviere has a closed guard, preventing Lex from standing up.
Riviere throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lex tries to stand but Riviere is controlling from the bottom.
Lex is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Riviere is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Riviere has escaped and now he's on top!

Riviere passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Riviere has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lex is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Riviere yanks on the arm and Lex is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Riviere.
