Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yousei Kobiashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the ring accompanied by Enea Vollare Mezzo. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobiashi swinging wildly here.
Overeem throws a sloppy head kick and Kobiashi moves out of range easily.
Overeem lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Overeem takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Overeem tries to bum rush Kobiashi with a series of wild strikes but Kobiashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Kobiashi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kobiashi throws a series of punches but Overeem moves out of range.
Kobiashi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Overeem.
Overeem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kobiashi misses with a double jab
and Overeem counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kobiashi is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Overeem walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

A nice leg kick lands there from Kobiashi.
Kobiashi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Overeem sprawling to the canvas! Overeem rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kobiashi finish him?!
Overeem is rocked!
Overeem is breathing heavily.
Kobiashi throws a looping overhand right but Overeem ducks down to avoid it.
Kobiashi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Overeem.
Kobiashi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kobiashi lands a big right hand that sends Overeem crashing to the mat! Kobiashi stays standing though and waves Overeem back to his feet!
Oh Overeem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Overeem avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Overeem seems to have got his legs back now.
Overeem uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kobiashi.
Overeem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kobiashi has cracked Overeem with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kobiashi lands another huge swinging hook and Overeem tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Overeem, before Kobiashi can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yousei Kobiashi!
