Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Patricio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Patricio's choice of entrance music: COWBOYS FROM HELL. Adrian Patricio will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patricio misses with a looping right.
Patricio works over Woods's head and body with a nice combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Woods.

Woods has closed the distance and engaged Patricio in a clinch.
Patricio blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Woods breaks the clinch.
Woods tries to close the distance and clinch but Patricio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Patricio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Woods stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Woods is breathing heavily.

Patricio is looking to stand up but Woods isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Patricio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Woods is one step ahead there.
Woods throws and elbow that misses. Patricio uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Woods's guard. Nice move by Patricio!
Woods wants to stand and escape but Patricio is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Woods tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Patricio paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Patricio fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Woods ducks straight into an uppercut from Patricio and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Woods manages to regain guard straight away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Woods lands a nice looking kick to the body. Patricio takes a step back to recover.
Patricio is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Woods rather than just go for the knockout.
Woods tries to clinch but Patricio moves out of range.

Adrian Patricio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Woods's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Patricio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Woods will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kerry Woods.
I think Patricio has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
