The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vein fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wildspeaker avoids it really well and circles away.
Wildspeaker tries to clinch but Vein moves out of range.
Zarra Vein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wildspeaker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vein is trying to defend but Wildspeaker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wildspeaker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vein sprawls well. Vein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wildspeaker gets slowly back to his feet.
Zarra Vein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garruk Wildspeaker.

Vein is trying to drag Wildspeaker to the mat but Wildspeaker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Wildspeaker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Vein clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wildspeaker is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Vein. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
