P I avoids the head kick by Naked.
A jab from Naked does it's job there.
Naked throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
P I tries to clinch up but Naked circles away and keeps his distance.
P I throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Naked's waist but Naked gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing P I off to one side.
P I cracks Naked with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
P I shoots in but no luck this time.
Naked fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but P I is out of range.
P I has closed the distance and engaged Naked in a clinch.
Naked pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A bone on bone clash there as P I blocks the leg kick.
P I drives through with a takedown into guard.
P I trying to control the position from guard on top but Naked is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Naked can't keep his opponent in guard - P I advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
P I is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
P I looks to land a strike but Naked avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
P I is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Naked is staying tight to P I's torso, preventing him from escaping.

P I fails in his attempt to clinch.
P I is looking to clinch but Naked is avoiding it.

P I shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Naked is trying to defend but P I finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
P I tries for a takedown but Naked sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Naked throws a leg kick that is checked
and P I counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Naked!
Naked tries to hold on but P I pushes him away.

P I throwing strikes here but Naked is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Magnum P I just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

P I looking to sit in guard and control but Naked gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Naked tries to stand but P I is controlling from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
P I bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
P I tries to advance position but instead Naked slips a leg back in to half guard.
P I wants to pass the guard but Naked is defending well.
P I is keen to just control but Naked is a slippery customer.

P I seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Naked does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

P I tries to clinch up but Naked circles away and keeps his distance.

Naked swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
P I fails with an attempt to clinch.

Naked shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and P I counters by moving into the clinch.
Naked wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
P I misses with a punch to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for P I.

P I tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

P I jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Naked walks away with a smile on his face. P I gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Naked really wants to buck P I off and get back to his feet.

The referee warns Naked that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
P I is stalling here but it's allowed Naked to get half guard.

P I is stalling here. Naked is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! P I seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Naked has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

and Naked cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Magnum P I.
I think P I has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
