Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Collin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jake Collin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dane Brophy! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brophy gets caught flat footed, as Collin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Collin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brophy looks gassed! Collin trying to control but Brophy is working from the bottom. Collin stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brophy just misses with a punch to the body.
Collin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brophy is trying to defend but Collin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Collin decides to stand and escape the position. Collin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brophy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collin tries to advance to mount but Brophy denies him. Collin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Collin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Collin is working Brophy over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collin has knee on belly and moves into mount. Brophy is squirming around, avoiding Collin's attempts to control the action. Collin unloading with bombs! Collin wants to finish this one by submission but Brophy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Collin. That's three minutes gone in the round. Collin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brophy manages to avoid the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Collin is trying to get an arm triangle but Brophy is defending well.

Collin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Collin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brophy keeps working. Brophy wants to control but Collin postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Collin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Collin scores with a takedown into Brophy's guard. Collin pushes down on Brophy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Collin lands with a punch from half guard. Collin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Collin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Collin is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Collin decides to stand up. Collin doesn't manage to clinch there - Brophy circles away.
Brophy tries to clinch up and Collin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Collin. Brophy wants to stand and escape but Collin is having none of it. Collin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Collin thows a big elbow that misses.

Collin works over Brophy with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Collin wants to control from the top but Brophy keeps moving. Collin wants to pass the guard but Brophy is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Collin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Collin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Collin seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brophy has hold of Collin's hands but Collin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Brophy is trying to get back to full guard. Brophy is staying active underneath Collin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dane Brophy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brophy gets caught flat footed, as Collin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Brophy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Collin is controlling him. Collin trying to control the position from guard on top but Brophy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Collin lands a couple of digs. Brophy keeping moving, preventing Collin from controlling successfully. Jake Collin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brophy wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Collin wants to control from the top but Brophy keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Collin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Collin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
