Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Wattson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoff Pulitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wattson comes to the cage accompanied by Weapon Of Choice - Fatboy Slim. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulitz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wattson has time to react.
Wattson swings for the body but Pulitz moves out of range.
Wattson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fighters circling - Wattson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wattson looks to land a body kick but Pulitz moved away.
Pulitz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wattson closes the distance and clinches up with Pulitz, looking for a takedown. Wattson pushes Pulitz against the cage but Pulitz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wattson thumps Pulitz with a low kick.
Pulitz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wattson's head.
Wattson fails to land the takedown.
Pulitz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pulitz wants it to stay on the feet.

A nice inside leg kick there by Wattson. That's going to slow Pulitz down.
Wattson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wattson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wattson scores with a jab. Pulitz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Pulitz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pulitz avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wattson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Wattson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pulitz because Wattson loaded up on that one.
Wattson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wattson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pulitz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The referee warns Pulitz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
