Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Deluna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Shaidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deluna's entrance music is King Without a Crown. A fine choice. Jake Shaidell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaidell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Deluna takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Deluna's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Shaidell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Deluna can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shaidell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
