The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paukku looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range.

James changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Paukku looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
James in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
James is looking to take a break and control but Paukku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
James misses with the ground and pound.
Paukku wants to get back to his feet.

James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Paukku is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, James asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
