The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oheat stuffs the takedown attempt from Voevoda. Voevoda gets slowly back to his feet.
Voevoda swats away the attempt to clinch by Oheat.
Oheat misses with a body kick.
Oheat moves in looking to clinch but Voevoda pushes him off.
Oheat leaves Voevoda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oheat misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Voevoda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oheat tries to avoid it but Voevoda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oheat to the ground. Oheat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oheat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Oheat closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Voevoda is refusing to be controlled, as Oheat sits in half guard.
Oheat wants to free his trapped foot but Voevoda is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Voevoda is trying to stand up here but Oheat is controlling him well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oheat has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Voevoda is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oheat is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Voevoda has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Voevoda!

Oheat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Voevoda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Oheat could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Voevoda wants to control from the top but Oheat keeps moving.

Voevoda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oheat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Voevoda has managed to get both his arms back between Oheat's legs - danger averted.
