Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dr iLL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Rowles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dr iLL!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Rowles!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
iLL tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rowles gets a takedown into half guard.
iLL is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
iLL wants to get back to his feet.
iLL is concentrating on defense, preventing Rowles from advancing position.
iLL wants to control but Rowles passes into side.
Rowles gets to mount! iLL was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Rowles takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
iLL on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if iLL tries to get out of the position.

Rowles throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Rowles tries to control but iLL wriggling away.
iLL is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rowles controlling his opponent.
iLL tries to hold on but Rowles postures up.
iLL tries to reverse the position but Rowles maintains control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rowles looking to control and managing it successfully.
Rowles avoids the attempt from iLL to control.
iLL really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
iLL is working hard here to advance position.
Rowles controlling from mount.
Rowles tries to control but iLL wriggling away.

iLL wants to control but Rowles is having none of it.
iLL wants to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
iLL is squirming around, avoiding Rowles's attempts to control the action.
iLL is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rowles wants to control the pace but iLL is squirming around nicely.
iLL tries to hold on but Rowles pushes him away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Rowles with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rowles throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rowles shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rowles showed some decent athleticism there.
iLL has his hands clasped together around Rowles's back. He's all about the action.
iLL trying to control but Rowles postures up.
Rowles wants to take a breather but iLL is having none of it.
iLL wants to improve his position but Rowles is controlling well.
Rowles takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Rowles wants to control but iLL is keeping him busy.
iLL keeping hold of Rowles's head, controlling as best he can.
iLL pushes Rowles off looking to stand but Rowles dives back in and keeps control.
Rowles tries to pass the half guard into mount. iLL knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
iLL throws a head kick that misses.
iLL tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rowles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
iLL finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
iLL fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
iLL moves out of range of the body kick from Rowles.
Some wild striking there from iLL.
Dr iLL seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowles takes a shot to the body in his stride.
iLL scores with a nice head shot.
Nice shot by Rowles.
iLL goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
iLL throws a series of punches but Rowles avoids them all with ease.
Rowles keeps the fight on the outside.
iLL walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rowles checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rowles avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

iLL has Rowles up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
iLL misses with some punches.
Rowles takes a knee right on the jaw!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
iLL digs a right hand underneath Rowles's ribcage. Rowles let out a lung full of air as it connected.
iLL has Rowles pressed against the cage, preventing Rowles from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
iLL has Rowles pushed against the cage.
iLL lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rowles.
A short body shot lands from iLL as the two fighters clinch.
iLL lands with a left to the head.
Rowles tries to circle away but iLL has him pinned against the cage.
iLL missing with knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rowles managing to block the knees to the body from iLL.
iLL looking to slow down the pace here.
Rowles looking to slow down the pace here.
Rowles is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as iLL takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
iLL lands a nice knee to the body.
iLL is pressed up against the cage. Rowles has hold of a leg and is looking to drag iLL down to the mat. iLL avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rowles checks the leg kick nicely there.
iLL lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dr iLL dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


iLL tries to clinch but Rowles is having none of it.
Rowles looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rowles lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
iLL chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from iLL.
iLL ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rowles moves away.
Rowles uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from iLL.
iLL misses with a low kick.
Rowles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but iLL moves away.
iLL is looking to clinch.
iLL misses with a kick to the body
and Rowles counters with a one-two to the body.
Rowles keeps the fight on the outside.

iLL tries a head kick but it misses.
Rowles thows a body shot but no joy.
iLL loads up on a big right hand but Rowles slips the punch.
iLL throws a half hearted mid kick.
iLL attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Rowles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
iLL regains half guard.
iLL is looking to control Rowles's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can iLL avoid being mounted?
Rowles wants to lay and pray for a moment but iLL keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rowles passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for iLL!
iLL is looking to get to half guard.
iLL wants to hold on but Rowles pushes him away.
iLL is trying to escape the mount.
Rowles takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
iLL is trying to escape the mount.
Rowles trying to control but iLL is having none of it.
Rowles content just to control the position here.
Rowles looking to control but iLL is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rowles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control iLL kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
iLL wants to control but Rowles is having none of it.
iLL is squirming around, avoiding Rowles's attempts to control the action.
Rowles lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rowles controlling the position easily from mount.
iLL can't escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Rowles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rowles has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
