Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tricta Phan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Medvidovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tricta Phan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tricta Phan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tricta Phan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dino Medvidovic!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Medvidovic tries to get to full guard but Phan has control of the leg.
Medvidovic gets back to full guard.
Phan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Medvidovic looking to hit a scissor sweep but Phan is one step ahead there.

Medvidovic working for a triangle but Phan defends it easily.
Phan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Medvidovic is keeping the position for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Phan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Medvidovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Medvidovic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Medvidovic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phan keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phan sneaks back into half guard.
Medvidovic looks gassed!
Phan tries to roll over but Medvidovic keeps him under control.
Phan is in trouble now - Medvidovic has advanced to mount!
Phan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Medvidovic stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Phan shoots for a double leg takedown but Medvidovic sprawls well. He's pushed Phan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Phan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Medvidovic closes the distance and clinches.
Phan jumps guard but Medvidovic stands there with Phan around his waist. Phan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Medvidovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Medvidovic.
Medvidovic is looking to take a break and control but Phan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Phan is looking to reverse the position.

Medvidovic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Phan, who protects the arm well.

Medvidovic postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Phan badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Medvidovic around the waist but Medvidovic pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Medvidovic is the winner by TKO! Medvidovic jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
