The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparring misses with a looping left.
Sparring misses with an uppercut. Juvel saw that one coming.
Some wild striking there from Sparring.
Sparring throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Juvel on the side of the head.
Juvel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sparring tests Juvel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Juvel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Juvel takes one to the chin there.
Sparring fails to land the takedown.
Sparring connects with a good right hand that stumbles Juvel. Juvel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sparring lands a lovely overhand right.
Juvel moves forwards but Sparring connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Sparring throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Juvel throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Boxing Sparring has been cut.
Juvel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Juvel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sparring throws out a powerful jab.
Sparring jabs Juvel right on the nose. Juvel blinks but takes it well.
Sparring throws a series of punches but Juvel avoids them all with ease.
Sparring lands a jab.

Juvel forces Sparring back against the cage and clinches.
Sparring has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sparring fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Juvel lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Sparring goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Juvel in side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sparring looks gassed!

Juvel decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Sparring seems to have recovered his senses.

That has opened up Boxing Sparring's cut even more.
Sparring might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
