Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wagner's choice of entrance music: Motorhead - Deaf forever. Chad Wagner will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wagner.
Wagner moves out of range of the body kick from Price.
Price lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Chad Wagner has been cut.
Wagner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Price looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wagner circles away quickly and effectively.
Wagner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Price defends it nicely.
Wagner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Price throws a right and a left that Wagner avoids nicely.
Price throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wagner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wagner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wagner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wagner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Price keeps working.
Wagner remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You can see the frustration on Price's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wagner has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Price's body.
I really don't envy Price right now.
Wagner doesn't have the hooks in and Price manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
