Pietrovitch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Punishment - Biohazard. Nikolai Pietrovitch has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barba misses with a takedown attempt - Pietrovitch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Barba moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Barba thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Barba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pietrovitch avoids it really well and circles away.

Pietrovitch is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Barba asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nikolai Pietrovitch.
I think Barba has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
