Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Ziccardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Green kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marko Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Gracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gracie is nestled in close to Ziccardo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Ziccardo's temple.
Gracie passes to full mount!
Gracie is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ziccardo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ziccardo is breathing heavily.

It looks like Mauro Ziccardo has been cut.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie is landing with some decent strikes but Ziccardo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie lands a big shot there that rocks Ziccardo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oh Ziccardo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ziccardo looks a forlorn figure.

Gracie looking to isolate an arm here. Ziccardo doesn't see it coming and as Gracie extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Gracie!
