Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Crocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crocop throws out the jab.
Crocop scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Crocop looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Jackson dodges the punch combination from Crocop.
Jackson tries for a takedown but Crocop sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crocop tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crocop to the ground. Crocop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crocop's waist but Crocop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.

Crocop lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Crocop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Crocop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jackson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Crocop connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crocop circles away.

Crocop uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jackson has time to react.

Jackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Crocop is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jackson.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
