The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Foster pinned against the cage. Foster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Couture shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Foster sprawls well. Foster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Couture gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab from Couture finds it's way through Foster's defenses.
Randy Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture closes the distance and clinches.
Foster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Couture avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Couture's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Couture misses with a short punch on the inside.
Couture drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carling Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Couture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster misses with a jab, cross combination.
Foster shoots and misses
and Couture counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Couture.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Couture is looking to work some ground and pound but Foster has wrist control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Foster trying to keep a closed guard but Couture is proving a slippery customer.
Couture must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Foster pulls Couture in close to prevent any damage.
Couture loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Couture tries to clinch but Foster moves out of range.
Couture scores with a takedown into Foster's guard.
Foster seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Foster keeping moving, preventing Couture from controlling successfully.

Couture is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Foster has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Couture is looking to defend but Foster has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Couture! Foster pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Couture taps out and this one is all over!
