The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Marcus.
No joy there for Marcus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
reed tries to clinch up but Marcus circles away and keeps his distance.
Marcus leaves reed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Marcus scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Marcus sprawls well. He's pushed reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Marcus connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent reed tumbling to the canvas! Marcus pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! reed was done - good stoppage!
