The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud fails to land with a series of punches.
Stroud connects with a looping right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stroud, as that shot connected.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gun.
Stroud scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Tommy Gun has been cut.
Les Stroud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gun throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Stroud getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gun swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stroud counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gun shoots in for a takedown but Stroud shows good takedown defense.
Stroud lands with a cross.

Stroud lands a left and a right that send Gun crashing to the mat, dazed. Stroud thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Stroud measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Gun! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
