Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Liston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Liston might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mama Said Knock You Out-LL Cool J. Bourque is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Business Time" by Flight of the Conchords. Timothy Bourque will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liston lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Timothy Bourque has been cut.
Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Liston throws a right and a left that Bourque avoids nicely.
Liston looks to land a combination but Bourque avoids it well.
Liston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab-cross combination lands for Bourque and sends Liston crashing to the mat! Bourque follows him down to the mat - Liston regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Liston is rocked!

It looks like Jermaine Liston has been cut.
Still in half guard, Bourque seems content to control.
Bourque is trying to control the action in half guard but Liston is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bourque tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Bourque thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liston's head.
Bourque not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Liston throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bourque trying to mount his opponent but Liston defends it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Liston misses with a double jab
and Bourque counters with a flying knee that drops Liston! Liston dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
