Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by Led Zeppelin: Kashmir. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emelianenko.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emelianenko. That did some damage!
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jones throws a right and a left that Emelianenko avoids nicely.
Jones lands with a straight right. Emelianenko didn't see that one coming.

Some wild striking there from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.

It looks like Sergei Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jones throws a series of punches but Emelianenko moves out of range.
Emelianenko thuds a left hand into Jones's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones throws and low kick but Emelianenko moves out of range easily.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jones throws a looping overhand right but Emelianenko ducks down to avoid it.
Emelianenko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Emelianenko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Emelianenko is breathing heavily.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Emelianenko manages to avoid it.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Emelianenko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Emelianenko loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Emelianenko is looking to clinch.
Jones scores with a jab to the head.
Emelianenko looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Emelianenko wants to clinch.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Emelianenko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Emelianenko's head back.
Jones scores with a leg kick.
Jones cracks Emelianenko with an open hand slap.
Emelianenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones lands a nice hook to Emelianenko's body. Emelianenko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ricardo Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
