Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toshihiro Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostya Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tszyu misses with a wild body shot.
Tszyu fails with the takedown.
Tszyu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Kai really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tszyu tries to work over Kai's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tszyu is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kai gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Toshihiro Kai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kostya Tszyu.
Kai is trying to break free.

Tszyu presses Kai against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kai wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tszyu has Kai pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kai manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tszyu lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kai or not.

Tszyu digs a right hand into Kai's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kai's gas tank.
Nice body punch from Kai - that landed with a thud.

Kai lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tszyu.

Kai presses Tszyu against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kai manages to break the clinch.
Kai uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tszyu has time to react.
Kai is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kai scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tszyu doesn't seem bothered though.

Kai scores with the left hand. Tszyu knows he should have avoided that one.
Kai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tszyu walks into a left hand.
A lazy left from Kai finds it's target.
Kai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tszyu tries to clinch up but Kai circles away and keeps his distance.
Tszyu shoots for a takedown but Kai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kai is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Tszyu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kai lands a jab to the head.
Tszyu swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kai scores with a body shot.
Kai cracks Tszyu with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Tszyu falls to his knees and Kai doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toshihiro Kai!
