Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tam Tam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones is trying to keep Tam in close.
Tam throws a big right hand that misses.
Tam scoring with punches to the head and body.
Tam distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tam postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Jones seems keen to control Tam's posture.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jones looking for a guillotine here but Tam defends easily.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tam missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tam is concentrating on defense, preventing Jones from advancing position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Tam counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Tam decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tam throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tam looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tam smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tam lands a decent elbow from side control.

Tam stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Tam cracks Jones with an open hand slap.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tam scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nice jab there from Tam.
Tam throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
Tam wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tam Tam dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Tam throws a one two combo.
Jones looks for a takedown but Tam sprawls well.

Tam clinches.
Tam pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Tam lands with a light punch inside.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tam pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Tam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tam rushes Jones with punches - Jones moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jones goes down! Tam follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tam Tam!
