PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uno Zachary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Freitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Freitas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zachary buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zachary misses with a few strikes there.

Freitas scores with a sloppy right hand. Zachary should have avoided that one.
Freitas lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Zachary clinches up with Freitas and pushes him back against the cage.

Zachary ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zachary no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Freitas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Freitas throws a combination. Zachary tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Freitas uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Zachary clinches up with Freitas and pushes him back against the cage.

Zachary gets control of Freitas's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zachary will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Zachary will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
