And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saint Randy is looking for a sweep.
Barkley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barkley gets to mount! Saint Randy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Saint Randy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Barkley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Barkley avoids the attempt from Saint Randy to control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barkley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Saint Randy is looking to improve his position but Barkley isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barkley wants to finish this one by submission but Saint Randy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Barkley.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Barkley prevents Saint Randy from getting the reversal.

Saint Randy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Barkley blocks Saint Randy's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Saint Randy tries to lock up and control but Barkley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Saint Randy is looking to improve his position but Barkley isn't that keen on the idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Saint Randy wants to control but Barkley is having none of it.
Saint Randy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Barkley has hold of Saint Randy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saint Randy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saint Randy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Foster Barkley just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Barkley lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Barkley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saint Randy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Barkley has hold of Saint Randy's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Saint Randy tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barkley cranks the arm and Saint Randy screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Saint Randy, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
