Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Blood of Cuchulainn. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn tries to bum rush Durden with a series of wild strikes but Durden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Quinn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durden circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quinn. Durden does a little dance to reset his feet.
Durden drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Quinn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Durden moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pete Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Quinn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quinn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Quinn misses with a hook. Durden ducked under it nicely.
Quinn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Durden looks to land a body kick but Quinn moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quinn misses with a looping left.
Quinn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Durden.
Quinn throws a hook but Durden blocks it.
Nice defenses there by Durden.
Durden showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Quinn.

Quinn misses with a hook. Durden ducked under it nicely.
Durden takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Quinn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Quinn throws a shot from downtown. Durden moves away and avoids it.
Durden steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quinn.

Durden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quinn is trying to defend but Durden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Quinn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durden keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Quinn gets full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quinn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Durden is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Durden wants to control from the top but Quinn keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quinn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Durden's guard.

Durden looking for a guillotine here but Quinn defends easily.
Quinn wants to get up but he can't break Durden's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Quinn stands and steps away. Durden gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Quinn might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Quinn misses with a hook.
Durden ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Durden tries for a takedown but Quinn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Durden throws a body punch but Quinn moves out of range.
Durden throws a jab but it's blocked by Quinn.
Durden staying out of range there.
Durden misses with a body kick.
Durden slips a jab from Quinn.
Quinn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Quinn cracks Durden with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Durden misses with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pete Quinn dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Durden uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quinn.
Durden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quinn.
Quinn throws a right and a left that Durden avoids nicely.
A jab from Quinn misses.
Quinn throws a shot from downtown. Durden moves away and avoids it.
Durden takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Quinn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Quinn misses with a wild body shot.

Durden tries to work over Quinn's front leg with a kick but Quinn checks it.
Quinn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Durden. Durden circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Quinn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Durden's head backwards.
Durden steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quinn.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quinn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pete Quinn seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Quinn throws a jab when Durden was well out of range.
Durden slips a jab from Quinn.
Durden takes one on the button.
Durden doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Durden tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Quinn misses.
Quinn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Quinn drops Durden with a beautiful combination! Durden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Quinn is looking for the KO!


Durden is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quinn lands with a big right hook that stumbles Durden - he's out on his feet here! Quinn follows up with another monster hook that separates Durden from consciousness! Durden falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Quinn stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pete Quinn!
