Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as CJ Becker enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dixon Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, CJ Becker!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Becker scores with a leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Cox.
Becker throws a wild body kick that Cox sees coming a mile off.
A combination from Becker does no damage.
Becker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cox moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cox shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Cox landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Cox thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Becker's head.
Becker wants to get back to his feet.
Becker wants to control but Cox is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cox wants to work for an arm triangle but Becker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cox lands strikes from half guard.
Becker is looking to escape.
Cox thows a huge punch but Becker dodges it nicely.
Becker is trying to escape back to his feet but Cox uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cox grinds an elbow into Becker's temple.

Cox tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Becker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Becker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Becker wants to get back to his feet but Cox drags him back down.
Becker looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cox wants to control but Becker is keeping him busy.
Becker is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cox has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Cox has an Americana. Becker didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cox is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cox hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dixon Cox!
