Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Ashby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogelio Baltazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rogelio Baltazar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltazar's corner calls for a 1-2. Baltazar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Ashby shoots in looking for a takedown. Baltazar tries to sprawl out of it but Ashby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baltazar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Baltazar tries to bum rush Ashby with a series of wild strikes but Ashby uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rogelio Baltazar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ashby has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Baltazar's face.
