Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Anselmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide works over Anselmo's head and body with a nice combination.
Anselmo tries a head kick but it misses.
Slide keeps the fight on the outside.
Anselmo doesn't manage to clinch there - Slide circles away.
A left and a right from Slide both land. Nice combination.
Anselmo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slide fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anselmo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Anselmo shoots in looking for a takedown. Slide tries to sprawl out of it but Anselmo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slide manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Phillip Anselmo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slide rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anselmo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Slide counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Slide stalks Anselmo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Anselmo's face. Anselmo staggers backwards, shaken.

Well Slide has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
