The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cortes tries to avoid it but Dos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cortes to the ground. Cortes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dos Santos looks to land a left hand but Cortes moved out of range nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Cortes.
