Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kubik Jestrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymour Taps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kubik Jestrab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seymour Taps!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taps will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Taps drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jestrab will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jestrab tries to strike from the bottom.
Taps pushes down on Jestrab's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Taps takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Taps stands up over Jestrab, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jestrab is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Taps throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jestrab works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jestrab manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Taps tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jestrab thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Jestrab working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taps bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jestrab's guard.
Taps chips away with some ground and pound.
Taps tries to free his leg and advance position but Jestrab is retaining full guard.

Taps stays in close to Jestrab's body and controls the position.
Jestrab throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jestrab wants to sweep here but Taps controlling him for the moment.
Jestrab keeping moving, preventing Taps from controlling successfully.
Jestrab throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Jestrab lands a decent shot there.
Jestrab striking off his back but it's not causing Taps any problems.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Taps dives in and grabs Jestrab's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jestrab pushes down on Taps's head and hops out.

Taps scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Taps is working for a submission of some sort.
Taps looks gassed!
Jestrab misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jestrab flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Jestrab tries to roll over but Taps keeps him under control.

Taps is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Taps seems to be working for a kimura but Jestrab defends the submission attempt.

Taps is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jestrab has managed to free his arm - good work.

Taps has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jestrab is refusing to be controlled, as Taps sits in half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jestrab tries to roll over but Taps keeps him under control.
Taps passes to side control.
Jestrab is looking for a sweep.
Jestrab tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Taps works to advance to full mount. Jestrab defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Taps has control of Jestrab's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jestrab regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jestrab working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jestrab throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Taps can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jestrab is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seymour Taps dominated that round.
That's time! Jestrab's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Taps misses the jab.
Taps throws a series of punches but Jestrab moves out of range.

Taps shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jestrab's guard.
Taps lands a couple of elbows.
Taps is in close to Jestrab's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jestrab has momentary wrist control but Taps slips an elbow through the middle.

Taps drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Taps as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jestrab screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Taps! Nice submission victory there!
