The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daud doesn't manage to clinch there - macka circles away.
Daud looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for macka!
Daud cracks macka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
macka tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Daud is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but macka is surviving well by controlling Daud's body position as best he can.
macka tries to improve his position but instead Daud has taken his back!
Daud gets his hands free as macka looks to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
macka turns into Daud and is now in his guard.
macka content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Daud has locked up a guillotine! Daud's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? macka is holding on here and Daud must be using up a lot of energy. macka has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Daud gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
