With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatt Mughes!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Mughes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Randleman circles away.

Randleman fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mughes throws a leg kick but Randleman checks it.

Randleman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Randleman drops back looking for a leg! Mughes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mughes manages to kick Randleman off! Randleman jumps back into Mughes's guard.

Mughes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Randleman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Randleman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Randleman gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Randleman lands an elbow that stopped Mughes in his tracks for a moment.

Randleman jumps guard and drags Mughes to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Randleman postures up in Mughes's guard and throws a big left but Mughes blocks it.

Randleman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mughes thows a left - swing and a miss!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Randleman is defended easily by Mughes.

and Randleman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mughes won't be happy with that.

Randleman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Randleman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Randleman passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mughes!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mughes tries to reverse the position but Randleman maintains control.
Mughes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Randleman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randleman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mughes can do to turn this around?

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mughes tries to clinch but Randleman moves away
and Randleman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Hatt Mughes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That has opened up Hatt Mughes's cut even more.

Mughes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mughes misses with a hook from the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kev Kev Randleman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Randleman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
