Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stryker McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veysel Barasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stryker McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Veysel Barasi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barasi to the mat! Barasi manages to get full guard.

Barasi wants to sweep but no luck.
McGee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barasi on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barasi is on top in guard.

Barasi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Barasi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
McGee throws a right hand that Barasi ducks under and follows up with a left that Barasi also avoids with ease.

McGee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Barasi works his way to full guard. Good work.
McGee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barasi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barasi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Barasi kicks McGee off and gets to his feet.

McGee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGee lands in his opponent's guard.

Barasi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
McGee holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Barasi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee warns McGee that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Barasi looking to ground and pound but McGee is blocking nicely.

Barasi gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Barasi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and McGee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Barasi wants to sweep here but McGee controlling him for the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Barasi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGee throws a big right hand that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barasi wants to clinch up but McGee keeps it at a distance.
McGee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barasi can pounce on him.
Barasi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and McGee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barasi won't be happy with that.
Barasi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Barasi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
McGee looks to land a strike but Barasi avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Barasi wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barasi is trying to keep McGee in close.

Barasi has his feet on McGee's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Barasi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGee.

and McGee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barasi's guard.

Barasi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stryker McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veysel Barasi.
McGee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barasi circles away.

Barasi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Barasi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Barasi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Barasi is trying to control the position but McGee postures up.
Barasi has control of McGee's left arm, preventing McGee from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barasi is on top in guard.

Barasi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McGee kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Barasi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Barasi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McGee, who protects the arm well.
Barasi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McGee some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Veysel Barasi will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Barasi wants to sweep here but McGee controlling him for the moment.

Stryker McGee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Barasi with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing McGee can't handle though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barasi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and McGee counters with a shoot takedown. Barasi fights it but they end up in guard.

McGee is working Barasi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
McGee won't allow Barasi to sweep him here.

Barasi wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGee keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McGee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Barasi is looking to take a break and control but McGee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stryker McGee showed his dominance in that final round.
I think McGee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
