The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Josh St Pierre has been cut.
St Pierre shoots in and drives through. Lynch sprawls well.
Lynch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lynch throws a good cross that connects.
St Pierre wants to clinch up but Lynch keeps it at a distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lynch.
Lynch leaves St Pierre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
St Pierre blocks a head kick by Lynch.
Lynch throws a sloppy head kick and St Pierre moves out of range easily.

Lynch goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
St Pierre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lynch as he jumps to the side.
Peter Lynch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh St Pierre.
St Pierre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lynch is fending him off so far but St Pierre persists. Nope, Lynch circles away and we're back to standing.
Lynch throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

St Pierre is looking to clinch but Lynch is avoiding it.
St Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lynch paws at him with a jab and circles away.

St Pierre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Peter Lynch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lynch lands a head kick. St Pierre smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lynch lands a left and a right that send St Pierre crashing to the mat, dazed. Lynch thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

St Pierre is rocked!
Lynch thows a body kick. St Pierre tries to catch it but that hurt him.
St Pierre looks gassed!
Lynch moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - St Pierre looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lynch lands an overhand right.

The cut above Josh St Pierre's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Lynch throws a head kick but St Pierre moves out of range.
Lynch lands with a shot to the body.
Lynch throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by St Pierre.
Lynch lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Josh St Pierre's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lynch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lynch pulls out of a head kick attempt.

St Pierre takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lynch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
St Pierre misses with a body shot
and Lynch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lynch lands a big head kick that sends St Pierre to the canvas! Lynch follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
