Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Landis tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Landis to the ground. Landis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Jones moves out of range as Landis strikes.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Landis which made him look bad.
Landis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Landis is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Landis circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Landis misses with a looping right.
Jones wants to clinch.
Landis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
Landis lands a nice shot to the body.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Landis.
Landis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Landis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Landis wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Landis.
Landis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice body punch from Landis.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Landis cracks Jones with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Landis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jones to stand back up!

Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A combination from Landis does no damage.
Landis lands with a big left! Jones is wobbled badly! Landis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Jones to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
