Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Pewterschmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mannish Boy Live with Muddy. Pewterschmidt has chosen 7 Words as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Pewterschmidt or perhaps it was just good defense by Perry which made him look bad.
Perry fails with an attempt to clinch.

Pewterschmidt shoots for a takedown but Perry saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Perry uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pewterschmidt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Perry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pewterschmidt dives in and grabs Perry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perry pushes down on Pewterschmidt's head and hops out.

Pewterschmidt uses his free foot to push down on Perry's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perry.

It looks like Lee Perry has been cut.

Pewterschmidt has hold of Perry's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Perry manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Perry turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pewterschmidt off and cradles Perry's limp body as Pewterschmidt celebrates with his corner.
