PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knockyo Assout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Assout might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mamma Said Knock You Out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assout stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Phillip Sauvage has been cut.
Assout misses with a two punch combination.
Sauvage looks for a takedown but Assout sprawls well.
Sauvage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Assout but Assout pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sauvage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Knockyo Assout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phillip Sauvage.
Sauvage shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Assout as he jumps to the side.
Sauvage shoots in for a takedown but Assout shows good takedown defense.
Sauvage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sauvage shoots for a takedown but Assout saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Assout lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sauvage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Assout avoids it really well and circles away.
Assout lands a jab to Sauvage's midsection.
Sauvage looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from Assout does no damage.
Sauvage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Assout sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sauvage somewhat.

Assout lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Phillip Sauvage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assout throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sauvage colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Assout as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sauvage is left battered and dazed whilst Assout and his camp cheer!
