Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Armageddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulf Lundell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lundell has chosen Lundell as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ulf Lundell!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armageddon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lundell throws a head kick that misses.
Armageddon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lundell throws a sloppy head kick and Armageddon moves out of range easily.
Lundell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Armageddon swivels and escapes.

Armageddon throws a series of punches but Lundell avoids them all with ease.

Lundell sizes up Armageddon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lundell closes the distance and clinches up with Armageddon, looking for a takedown. Lundell pushes Armageddon against the cage but Armageddon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lundell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Armageddon's guard.

Armageddon throws a right hand that Lundell ducks under and follows up with a left that Lundell also avoids with ease.

Lundell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Armageddon napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lundell is looking to take a break and control but Armageddon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lundell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Armageddon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lundell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Armageddon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lundell but great work by Armageddon.

Lundell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Armageddon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lundell has Armageddon in his guard.

Armageddon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lundell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Armageddon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Armageddon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Armageddon!

Lundell can't do much from the bottom here.
Lundell parries the strikes from Armageddon easily there. Armageddon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lundell to escape.
