Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimber AegisII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimber AegisII told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kong looks to score with a jab to the body but AegisII is just out of range.
Kong thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kong scores with a crisp jab that stopped AegisII in his tracks.
Kong looks to land a right hand but AegisII moved out of range.
Kong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from AegisII.

Jake Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kong cracks AegisII with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows AegisII to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and AegisII defends well.
AegisII slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

AegisII drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says AegisII as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kong screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with AegisII! Nice submission victory there!
